The game implements a deep, impressive and well-thought-out combat system, which makes the battles very spectacular, exciting and diverse, outwardly similar to scenes from a movie. There is also a single-player story campaign. However, compared to the multiplayer game, it looks noticeably weaker.

Ryse: Son of Rome is a third-person action adventure game that tells the story of a Roman legionnaire.

The main character is Marius Titus. He is preparing to leave Rome for military service in the II Legion, located in the city of Alexandria. However, shortly before his departure, barbarians attack the city and kill his father and younger sister. Throughout the game, Marius tries to find the killers. He will have to fight barbarians and other enemies both on the streets of Rome and in the remote corners of the Roman Empire.

The game has good graphics and well conveys the atmosphere of ancient Rome. At the same time, the game world is somewhat "corridor". There is a feeling of limited space for the character's movement.

He is a dead man possessed by the spirit of the elven ruler Celebrimbor. His enemies are Sauron, his warlords and the orc army.

Talion has a sword, a magical bow and dark magic at his disposal, which allows him not only to destroy the orcs, but also to subdue them to his will.

There is a clear hierarchy in the orc army. Each large location is overseen by 5 commanders - strong and fierce warriors. Lower-level military commanders are subordinate to them. In order to succeed, the protagonist needs to do more than just fight and destroy all the enemies that meet on the way. It is necessary to track down and destroy the warlords. But it is difficult to get to them.
