Watch Dogs 2 - is a third-person action adventure.

The events take place in San Francisco. The main character is the hacker Marcus Holloway. He joins the hacker organization "DedSec", which fights against corporations and corrupt authorities. The player's main weapon is hacking skills. At the same time, he uses real weapons in the game.

The game world is open for free movement and exploration. The main character can gain control over any technique built on microcircuits (traffic lights, electronic gadgets, power plants, video cameras, etc.). Gradually his skills improve. You can move in space on foot or by car.

The game can be played both in single player mode and in multiplayer mode.
