XCOM: Chimera Squad - is a turn-based tactical action game with elements of a role-playing game from the XCOM series.

The events take place five years after the events of XCOM 2. The alien invaders have been defeated, but part of the army of the former conquerors has remained to live on Earth alongside humans. In general, all races manage to coexist well. Most conflicts are handled by law enforcement. But if the situation gets out of control, the elite squad "Chimera" comes into action, the members of which the player will have to play for. The squad includes operatives who once fought on different sides of the barricades. Now it's one team.

The maximum number of fighters that can be included in the squad is 11. Only 4 operatives are directly involved in the execution of tasks at the same time. Before each new task, the composition of the team can be changed.
