Darksiders Genesis is a role-playing game that is an offshoot of the Darksiders series of games.

The events of the game precede the first part of the specified series. There are two main characters in the game. These are the horsemen of the apocalypse War and Discord. They have to go to hell and stop Lucifer, who intends to endow the demonic rulers with extraordinary power and thus disrupt the existing balance of forces of good and evil.

The gameplay is significantly different from the first parts of the series. The camera is placed higher and further behind the hero, although the level of action did not suffer from this. There is also an opportunity to perform various combo attacks and dodge enemy attacks.
