Battlefield 2042 is a multiplayer first-person shooter from the iconic Battlefield game series.

Events take place in the near future. A series of natural disasters caused a severe economic crisis and a humanitarian catastrophe of a global scale. The collapse of the system of international relations has come. Major states and interstate entities disintegrated. People living on their territory have united in groups. Russia and the USA, the last of the superpowers, are starting a war for resources.

The game is focused on multiplayer. You can play only against other players in one of the available modes, or alone against bots. There is no storyline single-player campaign at all.

Multiple game locations available: Antarctica, Qatar, South Korea, India, Singapore, Guyana, etc. The locations are large and detailed. There, the weather can change randomly, natural disasters can occur.
