Battlefield 5 is a first-person shooter, the fifteenth game in the Battlefield series.

The events take place during the Second World War in different parts of the planet. The plot of the single-player campaign is short and episodic. It tells the stories of various people participating in the war and consists of three parts: "Without flags" - about the resistance of British troops to the Nazis in Africa; "Aurora" - about the struggle of Norwegian partisans; "Tiralier" - about the exploits of soldiers from Senegal in France.

However, the main focus of the game is on the multiplayer mode. There is also a so-called "battle royale" mode, in which everyone fights against everyone.
