Biomutant is a third-person fantasy game in the action / RPG genre.

The events of the game take place in a free-to-move world inhabited by mutant animals. The main character is a creature that looks like a raccoon. He is proficient in Kung Fu, as well as a variety of cold and firearm weapons. The main character can change his abilities and appearance due to mutations and biomechanical prostheses. In addition, he can master super powers such as telekinesis and levitation.

According to the plot of the game, the Tree of Life, which gives life to all living things, can die. A tree has 5 roots. To save it, you need to get to the end of each root and free it from the pest creature.

The game has an extensive storyline. The decisions made by the player affect the continuation of the story. There are 6 tribes in the game world. The player can ally with one of them and destroy other tribes to increase the power of the allies (optional).
