Dune: Awakening is a third-person adventure role-playing game with survival elements.

The game takes place in the Dune universe. There is a war between two powerful houses. The player takes on the role of an undercover agent who must complete an important mission.

At the beginning of the game, the player creates a character, customizing his appearance and basic characteristics, and sets off on a journey across a hot desert planet. To survive, you need to constantly monitor the level of thirst and the condition of your character's ammunition. During the day, you can die from sandstorms or excessive sun exposure. At night, it is very easy to run into enemy patrols. It is also necessary not to make noise, as this can attract the attention of giant sand worms.

During the game, you can collect resources needed to create new items. An important resource and a valuable commodity is the psychedelic drug spice. The player can join one of two warring factions, which gives him certain advantages and opens up additional quests. You can play both in single player mode and in multiplayer network mode.
