ELEX is a third-person RPG game.

The events take place on the fictional planet Magalan, on which a meteorite fell, which, in addition to destruction, brought the mysterious substance "elex". The game world is futuristic and medieval locations inhabited by various animals and people. The player can use firearms and melee weapons, as well as magic.

The main character fights with the Alb faction, can cooperate and eventually join one of the 3 other factions. The entire territory of the game world is divided into 4 zones, in each of which representatives of the specified factions have settled. To speed up movement, the hero can use a jetpack, as well as a teleporter.
