Expeditions: Rome is a single-player turn-based strategy game with RPG elements.

The place of events is ancient Rome with many different locations (North Africa, Greece, Gaul, the city of Rome itself). The main character is a governor in the province, who was forced to flee from Rome and now has to suppress the rebellion of the Greeks.

It is necessary to accumulate military power and experience, gather forces and fulfill your main mission. In particular, it is necessary to conquer a huge territory from Greece to Gaul. At the head of the legion, you must complete three military campaigns, recruit legionnaires, improve the camp, improve equipment, conquer lands, use resources and defend your territories, paving the way to victory.

You can act not only by force, but also by diplomacy, taking into account political intrigues. Not only the future of enemies depends on the decisions made, but also the fate of your legion. Next to you are five friends with different skills and each with their own story. The main character can be customized depending on the player's preferences (appearance, gender, class, skills).
