Gears Tactics - is a game from the Gears of War series in the turn-based strategy genre.

The events take place on the planet Sera, where a horde of aggressive locusts suddenly appeared from under the ground, sweeping away human settlements. The player plays as the commander of a squad of soldiers who are fighting against the invaders. The main task of his team is to get to the leader of the locusts and prevent him from creating new monsters in order to ultimately win the war.

Battles are fought mainly in a turn-based strategy mode (the camera is placed from above) with a transition to the third-person mode at the moments when the team members shoot at the enemy, as well as at some other moments. Team members can be upgraded gradually, increasing their combat capabilities.
