Monster Hunter Wilds is a third-person action role-playing game.

The player takes on the role of a hunter who travels to lands inhabited by monsters to find a missing expedition. The protagonist tracks down monsters and kills or captures them, for which he receives a reward. In addition, he collects useful items in the game world. Using these resources, you can create new armor, weapons, and other equipment needed to fight stronger monsters.

The game world is open for exploration and consists of several locations. You can move around on foot or on a special monster. You can play in both single player and multiplayer modes.
