Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom - is a fantasy role-playing game from the third person in the style of anime.

Events take place in a fictional world. The main character is the heir to the throne, expelled from his kingdom as a result of a coup d'état. Together with his friends, Evan decides to found a new kingdom to unite the whole world around him and protect him from the impending danger.

The key point in the game is the completion of tasks that gradually reveal the plot. Between their performance, Prince Evan and his team can freely move around the game world, exploring large cities and small settlements, various dungeons and other locations.

When encountering enemies, combat mode is activated. During the battle, the player controls one of the team members. Other characters fight independently.

The gameplay also involves the development of Evan's kingdom, the creation of various jobs in it, the opening of shops, etc.
