Star Wars Outlaws is a single-player third-person action-adventure game set in the Star Wars universe.

The player controls a young thief who travels across the universe, escaping from a powerful crime syndicate. She is accompanied by a small intelligent animal that helps her in everything. At the disposal of the protagonist is a starship for traveling between planets, as well as a rocket bike for traveling on their surface.

Performing various tasks, the heroine advances in the story, improves her ammunition, improves her skills and earns authority from criminal factions. Most of the tasks involve stealthy movement, infiltrating guarded areas and stealing valuable items or information. To achieve her goals, the heroine can use a rope with a hook, an electronic lockpick, a laser gun, as well as skills of stealthy disarming of enemies.
