The events take place in a space fortress-monastery that disappeared several thousand years ago. The main character is an inquisitor sent there in connection with a signal for help.

The gameplay consists in advancing through the levels and destroying opponents using various weapons. For the completion of each mission, experience points are accrued, which can be used to improve the character's abilities. The number of life points, defense and damage in battle depends on this. Weapons, armor, ammunition, as well as the class of the character are also of great importance. There are 3 main character classes in the game, each of which is divided into several subclasses.

The game has both a single-player campaign and a multiplayer mode.
