Yakuza 0 - is a single-player third-person action adventure with an emphasis on oriental martial arts.

The events take place in Japan in the late 80s of the 20th century. The game world is open to free exploration and includes two cities (similar to Tokyo and Osaka). There are two main characters in the game: the young mobster Kazuma Kiryu and the former mobster Goro Majima, who is now a cabaret manager. They find themselves embroiled in a struggle for a plot of land in the center of the city, in which almost all of Japan's criminal gangs participate. During the game, the player will control each of the characters in turn.

The gameplay is divided into two modes: adventure mode, in which you can explore the city, interact with its inhabitants, make purchases, play mini-games, etc.; a battle mode whose name speaks for itself. Both main characters have techniques of oriental martial arts, which can be gradually improved.
