Grand Theft Auto (GTA): The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition - is a modern re-release of three legendary games from the Grand Theft Auto series: GTA III (2001), GTA: Vice City (2002) and GTA: San Andreas (2004). These are third-person crime action games with RPG elements that allow freedom of movement and action in a large open world. All three games, compared to the originals, have been significantly redesigned and received many different improvements. Graphics have become better, detailing has increased, high-quality textures have been added, etc. The plot of each of the games remained unchanged, in particular:

- Grand Theft Auto III - events take place in the fictional city of Liberty City (very similar to New York). The game is played on behalf of a criminal named Claude (there will be gang wars, shootouts, robberies, car thefts, corruption, etc.);

- Grand Theft Auto: Vice City - the main character is the criminal Tommy Vercetti, who after being released from prison gets into an adventure again. He takes revenge on enemies, participates in the war of criminal groups for influence. All this takes place in the fictional city of Vice City;

- Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - a game on behalf of the criminal Carl Johnson. He returns to his hometown because someone killed his mother. Family and old friends are confused. It is necessary to rebuild the gang, regain influence and learn the truth about the murder of the mother. The setting is the fictional area of San Andreas, which includes 3 cities: Los Santos (similar to Los Angeles), San Fierro (San Francisco) and Las Venturas (Las Vegas).
